Holding a DESS in Finance & Management Control from the National University of Benin and the ITB (Banking Technical Institute) of CFPB (France), Mr. ALLAGBÉ Djidjoho Pierre has extensive professional experience.
Previously, he served as Deputy Risk Director and Director of Studies at BOA Benin, as well as Risk Director at ECOBANK Benin. He joined AFG Holding in June 2021 and currently serves as the Group’s Director of Risk and Permanent Control.
With extensive experience in banking internal control and a Professional Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting, Ms. Cada DJENZOU began her career within the Société Générale Group.
She successively held the positions of Audit Team Leader, Managerial Supervision Officer, Director of Permanent Control, and Director of Compliance at SG Côte d’Ivoire between 2007 and 2022. She joined the AFG Group in February 2022 to lead its compliance framework.
A graduate of ITB and holding a DESS in Audit and Management Control as well as a Master’s degree in Accounting and Financial Technical Sciences (MSTCF) from the University of Abidjan Cocody, Mr. Ghislain MALAN has extensive experience, primarily in control functions at Ecobank, BNI, ABI, and Société Générale Côte d’Ivoire.
He successively held the positions of Internal Controller, Chief Internal Audit Officer, Head of Compliance, Department Head, and Director of Permanent Control before joining AFG Holding in January 2022 in the same role.
Following a professional transition, he has served as the Group’s Director of Operations since late 2022.
Holding a Master’s degree in Banking and Financial Law from the University of Montpellier, Ms. Geneviève KANTE has extensive professional experience. She served as Legal Manager at BCI-Mali SA, and later as Legal Director of Banque Internationale pour le Commerce et l’Industrie au Mali (BICIM), a former BNP Paribas subsidiary acquired by the AFG Group in December 2020.
Ms. KANTE joined AFG Holding in December 2021 as Director of Legal Affairs and Governance.
Dr. Ahmed A. Traoré is a human resources management expert with over 18 years of experience in designing and implementing HR strategies. Currently Group Director of Human Capital at AFG Holding, he oversees HR governance, talent management, performance, and the digitalization of processes across the Group’s subsidiaries.
He holds a PhD in Industrial Relations from the Université de Montréal, is CHRL-certified, and has earned certificates in Digital Transformation (MIT) and Artificial Intelligence (UNESCO).His career combines experience in North America and Africa, notably with TD Bank Canada, Laurentian Bank of Canada, UNIWAX, CFCI, Groupe AVOS and ANSUT.
Recognized for his leadership and expertise, he regularly speaks at conferences on topics related to HR innovation, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation..
Passionate about the evolution of HR practices, Dr. Traoré is committed to supporting AFG Holding’s growth ambitions by placing human capital at the heart of performance..
A highly qualified professional, Irène TUO joined AFG Holding in December 2022, following extensive experience, including significant roles in banking, particularly in retail management.
She holds a Master’s degree in Management & Marketing, as well as several certificates from Yale, HEC, and ESSEC. A graduate of the Banking Technical Institute (ITB), she is also a senior lecturer at the École Supérieure de la Banque in Paris.
With a career rich in commercial, marketing, and skills development roles, Irène is also an experienced trainer in management, sales practices, and co-development.
Beginning her career in Abidjan, De Ghimelle has demonstrated undeniable technical and interpersonal skills.
She has acquired diverse professional experience in Côte d’Ivoire and France, working with companies such as ORANGE, Bouygues Energies & Services, ESA (European Space Agency), and General Electric Healthcare.
After recently serving as Lead Cybersecurity for Eastern Europe at L’ORÉAL, she returned home to join AFG Holding as Director of Information Systems Security (DSSI) since July 21, 2023.
Fluent in English, French, and Spanish, De Ghimelle holds a Master’s degree in IT Project Management from IGS Paris. She also earned an Executive MBA in Cybersecurity Management and Information Systems Governance — where she served as class president — from the prestigious École de Guerre Économique in Paris 7.
Holding a Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) certification and an AMP from Yale School of Management, Mr. Emmanuel DAX is a certified public accountant (CPA in training).
He has significant experience, notably with the consulting firm Mazars in West and Central Africa, where he served as a manager in financial and organizational consulting, primarily for financial institutions such as ABI, NSIA, GROUPE COFINA, and BDU.
Mr. DAX joined AFG Holding in April 2021 as Head of the Finance Department.
Natou YAO-COULIBALY joined AFG Holding in December 2021 as Head of the Organization Department.
Throughout her career, she has developed expertise in strategy, organization, and organizational transformation. A graduate with a Master’s degree in Organizational Management from the University of Abidjan-Cocody, Natou has worked in diverse professional environments, including banking (Société Générale Côte d’Ivoire, BICICI, former BNP Paribas subsidiary, Orange Bank Africa) and auditing (Deloitte, one of the Big Four).
In 2024, she was promoted to Director of Organization and Processes.
A generalist industrial engineer trained at INPHB in Yamoussoukro, Mr. Woun KONE is also a graduate of the Banking Technical Institute (ITB) at CFPB Nanterre.
He gained significant experience at BICICI, Atlantic Business International (ABI), and Orange Bank Africa as Project Manager.
Mr. KONE joined AFG Holding in November 2021 as Head of the Projects Department.
In September 2024, he was promoted to Director of Projects and Innovation.
Trained at Paris II – Panthéon Assas University and Paris XII – Créteil University, Sonia N’GUESSAN FOSSOU has built strong expertise in business development and in enhancing team capabilities.
With over twenty years of experience in the African and European banking sector, she has worked in several financial institutions, notably BNP Paribas, Société Générale, and AFG Bank, where she held key responsibilities.
In 2021, Sonia N’GUESSAN FOSSOU took part in the launch of AFG Bank Côte d’Ivoire as Commercial Director. In 2023, she supported the absorption of Banque Populaire by AFG Bank Côte d’Ivoire, before being promoted in November 2024 to the position of Group Training Director at AFG Holding.
A specialist in talent development and commercial strategy, she launched the customer excellence program WENOVATE TO PERFORM! and initiated the AFG Academy project to support the Group’s transformation.
She now embodies a modern vision of training, combining innovation and impact.

Le séminaire de cinq (5) jours qui s’est tenu du 29 janvier au 3 février 2023 à Azalaï Hôtel Abidjan a tenu toutes ses promesses. Il a vu la participation d’auditeurs venus de toutes les filiales bancaires du Groupe AFG Holding, et d’intervenants de qualité.
Le séminaire a été dispensé avec un double objectif : La formation aux normes internationales d’Audit et aux méthodes du Groupe, ainsi que le renforcement de l’esprit d’équipe. Ce sont donc des formations de qualité, avec un aspect pratique qu’ont reçu les participants.
Les thèmes abordés étaient relatifs à l’IT, la méthodologie interne du Groupe, mais aussi à des sujets organisationnels tels que la gestion du temps et le management. L’équipe d’audit a également eu droit à une journée spécialement dédiée à la professionnalisation de la pratique de l’Audit Interne, qui fut assurée par la représentation en Côte-d’Ivoire de l’Institut des Auditeurs Internes (IIA).
La dernière journée était dédiée au team building. C’est dans le cadre reposant et enchanteur de l’île du Boulay Beach Resort (BBR) que le cabinet « La boîte à idée » a animé des sessions visant à consolider l’esprit d’équipe.
Pour finir, cette semaine a été clôturée par un dîner sur la lagune Ebrié le même soir. Tous les participants sont retournés heureux dans leurs pays respectifs avec des souvenirs personnalisés. AFG Audit week est assurément le signe annonciateur d’une très belle saison pour l’ensemble de nos auditeurs.

La délégation de la BICIM composée du Directeur Adjoint M. Seydou COULIBALY, du Responsable Mining desk M. Abdoulaye MAKANGUILE et accompagnée de M. Sionlé YEO, Directeur Général de AFG Holding, a participé au MINING INDABA à Cape Town du 6 au 9 février 2023 avec beaucoup de succès. Pour rappel, le thème évoqué était : « Libérer les investissements miniers de l’Afrique : la stabilité, la sécurité et l’approvisionnement. »
Notre filiale de la BICIM en tant que partenaire incontournable de ce grand forum avait pour objectif de :
- Faire rayonner notre savoir-faire dans le secteur minier ;
- Apprendre davantage sur les besoins et les projets des différentes sociétés minières ;
- Rencontrer les principaux donneurs d’ordres du secteur en Afrique et échanger avec eux ;
- Nouer des partenariats stratégiques ;
- Identifier et saisir de nouvelles occasions d’affaires.

Du 28 au 29 novembre 2022, Monsieur YEO SIONLE, Directeur Général de AFG Holding SA, et Monsieur ANATOLE GEORGES WILSON, Secrétaire Général de Atlantic Group, ont participé au Sommet Annuel AFIS 2022, à Lomé au Togo.
L’AFIS, Africa Financial Industry Summit, fondée par le Groupe Jeune Afrique Media en 2021, est une organisation qui accompagne la finance africaine dans sa transformation, avec pour ambition de « construire une industrie financière robuste au service de l’économie réelle et du développement durable ». M. YEO SIONLE est intervenu dans le panel ayant pour thème la « Digitalisation : les banques à l’heure de la remise en question ». M. Anatole Georges WILSON quant à lui a partagé son expertise dans l’atelier portant sur la « Cybercriminalité : élaborer une stratégie de gouvernance solide pour atténuer les risques ».
