Mr. YEO, an engineer by training (École Centrale de Marseille and Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble), began his career at Énergie Electrique de Côte d’Ivoire (EECI) before joining the Société Générale Group. In Côte d’Ivoire, he held positions as IT Director, Financial and IT Director, and then Deputy General Director of SGCI.

He was later appointed General Director of the subsidiaries in Burkina Faso and Ghana.

In 2018, Société Générale promoted him to Regional Director for Central and Eastern Africa, a position he left in June 2021 to join the AFG Group.

A statistician-economist and financial engineer, Mr. KONE has built a strong professional background primarily in North America (Canada) and Africa. Before joining AFG Holding, he held several strategic positions at the Caisse de Dépôts et de Placement du Québec, one of the largest pension funds in North America. Within the Ecobank Group, he led the investment teams of the asset management branch and managed commercial activities in the Treasury Department, as well as the development and distribution of market products in the UEMOA region and Cape Verde.

Karim holds an Executive MBA from HEC Paris, a Master’s in Financial Engineering from Laval University (Canada), and a degree in State Engineering as a Statistician-Economist from INSEA in Rabat. He also has CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and FRM (Financial Risk Manager) certifications, along with several executive certifications in strategy, asset management, leadership, and management, obtained from institutions such as HEC Paris and Wharton Business School.

A qualified chartered accountant, BOUBA has significant experience in banking regulatory bodies within the CEMAC region.

He served as an Inspector at COBAC in 2007, then became the Financial Director of BDEAC in 2016. In 2018, he took on the role of Deputy Director of Accounting at BEAC, where he contributed to the transition to IFRS standards for the institution before joining AFG in September 2021.

Banking subsidiary Administrator and General Director, Mr. Ganga has strong expertise in leadership, project coordination, and organization, as well as in defining and implementing development and transformation strategies in banking, particularly within the BNP PARIBAS group.

An economist by training (DESS from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne), he joined the AFG group in April 2021 to facilitate the transition of former BNP subsidiaries.

Mrs. YATASSAYE has held various positions across different sectors, including agro-industry, media, and banking, before joining AFGbank CI in March 2024 as the Director of Marketing and Communication.

With a strong background in marketing and institutional and brand communication, she will significantly contribute to the implementation of key projects, including the development of the AFG bank and insurance brand, rebranding efforts, and the management of our Wenovate strategy, which will set us apart in various markets.

Her expertise in project management and her knowledge of several African markets will be valuable assets in addressing upcoming challenges, particularly in driving change within our subsidiaries.

Holding a DESS in Finance & Management Control from the National University of Benin and a diploma from the ITB (Institut Technique de Banque) in France, Mr. ALLAGBÉ Djidjoho Pierre has a rich professional background.

Previously, he served as Deputy Director of Risks and Director of Studies at BOA Bénin, as well as Director of Risks at ECOBANK Bénin. He joined AFG Holding in June 2021 and currently holds the position of Director of Risks and Permanent Control for the Group.

With a strong background in banking internal control and a Professional Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting, Mrs. Cada DJENZOU began her career at the Société Générale Group.

She successively held positions as Audit Lead, Managerial Supervision Officer, Director of Permanent Control, and then Compliance Director at SG Côte d’Ivoire from 2007 to 2022. She joined AFG Group in February 2022 to lead its compliance framework.

Graduating from the ITB and holding a DESS in Audit and Management Control as well as a Master’s degree in Accounting and Financial Sciences (MSTCF) from the University of Abidjan-Cocody, Mr. Ghislain MALAN has a solid background, primarily in control functions at Ecobank, BNI, ABI, and Société Générale Côte d’Ivoire.

He has successively held positions as Internal Controller, Lead Internal Auditor, Head of Compliance, Head of Department, and then Director of Permanent Control, before joining AFG Holding in January 2022 in the same role.

Following a professional transition, he has been serving as the Group Operations Director since the end of 2022.

Mrs. Claire KOREKI joined AFG Holding in September 2021, bringing with her extensive professional experience. She is responsible for driving and overseeing the engagement function within the group.

Her main responsibilities include optimizing the credit approval process, validating credit applications submitted by the subsidiary, and ensuring the quality of the portfolio. She also plays a key role in improving the bank’s results through effective risk cost management.

Holding a Master’s degree in Banking and Financial Law from the University of Montpellier, Mrs. Geneviève KANTE has a solid professional background. She served as the Legal Manager of BCI-Mali SA and later as the Legal Director of the Banque Internationale pour le Commerce et l’Industrie au Mali (BICIM), a former subsidiary of the BNP Paribas Group, which was acquired by AFG Group in December 2020.

Mrs. KANTE joined AFG Holding in December 2021 as the Director of Legal Affairs and Governance.

Mrs. KARAMOKO Epse SY SAVANE Affoussiata joined AFG Holding in March 2022 as the Director of Human Resources. She began her career as a legal professional and has significant experience in social management and human resources management.

Holding a Master’s degree in Labor Law and a Master’s in International Business Management from IAE Lyon 3, she previously served as the Head of Human Resources for Africa at Groupe Duval, bringing diverse experience across several sectors, including finance. She is responsible for human capital management within AFG Holding.

Biologist by training, with a master’s degree in biology and a DESS in environmental studies and prevention from the University of Montreal, Mrs. DOSSO épse AIDARA Amssétou transitioned into administration.

She has significant experience in the administrative field, having worked within the Government of Canada. Previously the Director and Manager of the Pharmacy at the Lycée Technique, Mrs. AIDARA Amssétou joined AFG Holding in November 2021 as the Chief of Staff.

Highly qualified professional, Irène TUO joined AFG Holding in December 2022, bringing with her a strong background, including significant experience in banking, particularly in managerial roles within retail.

She holds a Master’s degree in Management & Marketing, as well as several certificates from Yale University, HEC, and ESSEC. A graduate of the Institut Technique de Banque (ITB), she is also a lecturer at the École Supérieure de la Banque de Paris.

With a rich career in sales, marketing, and skills development, Irène is also an experienced trainer in management, sales postures, and co-development.

Through her journey that began in Abidjan, De Ghimelle has demonstrated undeniable technical and interpersonal skills.

She has a diverse professional background gained in Côte d’Ivoire and France, having worked with companies such as ORANGE, Bouygues Energies & Services, the ESA (European Space Agency), and General Electric Healthcare.

After recently serving as Lead Cybersecurity for Eastern Europe at L’OREAL, she returned to her home country to join AFG Holding as the Director of Information Systems Security (DSSI) on July 21, 2023.

Fluent in three languages (English, French, and Spanish), De Ghimelle holds a Master’s degree in Project Management from IGS Paris. She also has an Executive MBA in Cybersecurity Management and Information Systems Governance, for which she is the class president, from the prestigious École de Guerre Économique in Paris 7.

Holding a certification in financial modeling (FMVA) and an AMP from Yale School of Management, Mr. Emmanuel DAX is a practicing chartered accountant.

He has significant experience, particularly at the consulting firm Mazars West and Central Africa, where he worked as a manager in financial and organizational consulting, mainly for financial institutions such as ABI, NSIA, GROUPE COFINA, and BDU.

Mr. DAX joined AFG Holding in April 2021 as Head of the Finance Department.

In December 2021, Natou YAO-COULIBALY joined AFG Holding as the Head of the Organization Department.

Throughout her career, she has developed expertise in strategy, organization, and organizational transformation. She holds a Master’s degree in Management of Organizations from the University of Abidjan-Cocody and has worked in various professional environments, including banking (Société Générale Côte d’Ivoire, BICICI, a former subsidiary of BNP Paribas, and Orange Bank Africa) and auditing (Deloitte, one of the Big Four).

In 2024, she was promoted to the position of Director of Organization and Processes.

Industrial engineer trained at INPHB Yamoussoukro, Mr. Woun KONE also holds a diploma from the Institut Technique de Banque at CFPB Nanterre.

He has gained significant experience at BICICI, Atlantic Business International (ABI), and Orange Bank Africa as Project Manager.

Mr. KONE joined AFG Holding in November 2021 as Head of the Projects Department.

In September 2024, he was promoted to the position of Director of Projects and Innovation.
