With nearly 34 years of experience in the banking industry, Mr. Yeo, an engineer by training (Ecole Centrale de Marseille and Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble), began his career in 1985 at Energie Electrique de Côte d’Ivoire (EECI), then joined the Société Générale Group where he held the positions of IT Director, Finance and IT Director, and then Deputy General Manager of SGCI.

He was then appointed from 2011 as CEO of the subsidiaries in Burkina Faso and Ghana. In 2018, Société Générale Group promoted him to the position of Regional Director for Central and East Africa, a position he will leave in June 2021 to join AFG Group.

Statistician-Economist and financial engineer, Mr. KONE has more than 17 years of professionnal experience, mainly obtained in North-America (Canada) and in Africa. Before joining AFG Holding, he held several strategic positions at Caisse de Depôt et Placement du Quebec (CDPQ), one of the largest pension fund in North America. At Ecobank, he led the investment teams of the Asset Management affiliate, before joining the Treasury team to steer the commercial activity and the market product development and distribution, in the UEMOA region and Cape-verde.

Karim holds an Executive MBA from HEC Paris, a master degree in financial engineering from Laval University (Canada) and is a Statistician-Economist (Engineer/Masters) from INSEA in Rabat. Karim also owns international credentials such as the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and the FRM (Financial Risk Manager) certifications. He earned several executive certificates in Asset Management (Wharton Business School), Strategy (HEC Paris) and Leadership & Management (Wharton Business School).

A chartered accountant by training, Mr. BOUBA has accumulated 15 years of experience in the financial institutions of CEMAC before joining AFG Holding in September 2021.

Between 2007 and 2021, he was successively Head of mission of on-site control at COBAC, Financial Director at BDEAC and Deputy Director of Accounting, Budget and Management Control at BEAC. In this last position, he was entrusted with the responsibility of the project to align the Central Bank’s accounting framework with IFRS standards.

Director and General Manager of a banking subsidiary with more than 25 years of experience in leadership, coordination and organization of projects, as well as in the definition and implementation of development and banking transformation strategies, notably within the BNP PARIBAS group.

Mr. Ganga, an economist by training (DESS Université Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne), joined the AFG group in April 2021 in order to facilitate the transition of the former BNP subsidiaries.

Mr. Allagbé Djidjoho Pierre holds a post-graduate degree in Finance and Management Control from the National University of Benin and the ITB (Technical Institute of Banking) from the CFPB (France). He has 24 years of professional experience.

Previously Deputy Director of Risks and Director of Studies at BOA Benin, Director of Risks at ECOBANK Benin, he joined AFG Holding in June 2021 and currently holds the position of Director of Risks and Permanent Control of the Group.

With nearly 15 years of experience in banking internal control, and a Professional Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting, Ms. Cada DJENZOU began her career with the Société Générale Group.

She successively held the positions of Head of Audit Mission, Managerial Supervision, Director of Permanent Control, then Director of Compliance between 2007 and 2022 at SG Côte d’Ivoire.

In February 2022, she will join the AFG Group to manage its compliance system.

A graduate of ITB, Ghislain Malan holds a post-graduate degree in Audit and Management Control and a Master’s degree in Accounting and Financial Techniques (MSTCF) from the University of Abidjan Cocody. He has 17 years of experience, mainly in control functions at Ecobank, BNI, ABI and Société Générale Côte d’Ivoire.

He successively held the positions of Internal Controller, Head of Internal Auditor, Head of Compliance, Head of Department, then Director of Permanent Control, before joining AFG Holding in January 2022 in the same position.

Following a professional transition, he became Group Operations Director at the end of 2022.

Marius Nkori holds a Master’s degree in financial engineering from Morocco and has more than 23 years of experience in the African banking sector.

He was respectively Assistant Vice President at Citibank (11 years), Director of Treasury and then Director of Group Treasury at BGFIbank (11 years), and a business expert and trainer of trainers at B.B.S BGFI Business School since (12 years).

He will join AFG Group as Group Treasury Director in 2021.

Claire KOREKI has 30 years of professional experience and joined AFG Holding in September 2021.

Her role is to ensure the animation and the piloting of the commitment channel at the group level.

Her main missions are to ensure the optimization of the credit granting system, the validation of the credit files submitted by the subsidiary, the quality of the portfolio and to contribute to the bank’s results by a good control of the risk cost.

Fabrice HIEN is the Director of Audit & General Inspection at AFG Holding since June 2021. With more than 10 years of professional experience, he started his career in financial audit at PWC Abidjan, before joining the Internal Audit Hub of Société Générale in charge of Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso and Benin.

He then became the Supervisor of the Central African Audit Hub covering Société Générale subsidiaries in Cameroon, Chad, Congo and Equatorial Guinea.

Fabrice holds a degree in Finance, Marketing and Management from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce d’Abidjan (ESCA) and the Institut National Polytechnique Félix Houphouet Boigny of Yamoussoukro (INP-HB). He is also a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).

Geneviève KANTE holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Financial Law from the University of Montpellier. She has nine (9) years of professional experience, respectively as Legal Manager of BCI-Mali SA, then Legal Director of Banque Internationale pour le Commerce et l’Industrie au Mali (BICIM), a former subsidiary of the BNP Paribas Group, which was acquired by AFG in December 2020.

Ms. KANTE joined AFG Holding in December 2021 as General Counsel and Governance Director.

Mrs. KARAMOKO Epse SY SAVANE Affoussiata joined AFG Holding in March 2022 as Director of Human Resources. She started her career as a lawyer and has more than 15 years of experience in social management and Human Resources management.

Mrs. KARAMOKO Epse SY SAVANE Affoussiata holds a Master’s degree in Social Law and a Master’s degree in International Business Management from IAE Lyon 3. She previously held the position of Human Resources Manager for Africa in the Duval Group with a diversified experience in several sectors of activity including Finance. She is in charge of the Human Capital Management of AFG Holding Group.

A biologist by training with a master’s degree in biology and a DESS in environment and prevention from the University of Montreal.

Mrs. DOSSO épse AIDARA Amssétou has reconverted in administration.

She has 21 years of experience in the administrative field, 15 of which were in the Government of Canada.

Previously Director and Manager of the Pharmacy of the Technical High School, Mrs. AIDARA Amssétou joined us in November 2021 as Director of Cabinet.

Highly qualified professional with more than 21 years of experience of which 15 in banking and 11 in retail.

Ms. Irene TUO, joined us as head of retail department in December 2022.

She holds a Master 2 in Management & Marketing from the Institut Technique de Banque de Paris, and several certificates from YALE University, HEC, ESSEC, etc. Irene has held various management positions in sales, marketing and skills development.

She is an experienced trainer in Co-development & Sales Postures and is also a lecturer for the CFPB.

De Ghimelle’s career path, which began in Abidjan, has given her undeniable soft and hard skills.

To date, she has 18 years’ professional experience both in Côte d’Ivoire and in France with companies such as ORANGE, Bouygues Energies & Services, ESA (the European Space Agency) and General Electric Healthcare.

After recently serving as Cybersecurity Lead for Eastern Europe at L’OREAL, she returned home to AFG Holding as Director of Information Systems Security (DSSI) from 21/07/2023.

Fluently trilingual (English-French-Spanish), De Ghimelle holds a Master 2 in IT Project Management from IGS Paris.

She also holds an Executive MBA in Cybersecurity Management & Information Systems Governance – of which she is class president – from the prestigious Ecole de Guerre Economique de Paris 7.

He has 10 years of experience, notably in the consulting firm Mazars West and Central Africa where he worked as a manager in financial and organizational consulting mainly for financial institutions (ABI, NSIA, COFINA GROUP and BDU).

In December 2021, Natou YAO-COULIBALY will join AFG Holding as Head of the Organization Department.

During her eleven (11) years of career, she has built up an expertise on the themes related to Strategy, Organization and Transformation of Organizations.

With a Master’s degree in Organization Management from the University of Abidjan-Cocody, Natou has worked in various professional environments, namely: Banking (Société Générale Côte d’Ivoire, BICICI (former subsidiary of BNP Paribas), Orange Bank Africa) and Audit (Deloitte, one of the Big Four).

Mr. Woun KONE is an industrial engineer trained at the INPHB of Yamoussoukro. He also holds a diploma from the Technical Institute of Banking of the CFPB Nanterre.

He has 14 years of experience successively at BICICI, Atlantic Business International (ABI) and Orange Bank Africa as a Project Manager.

He joined AFG in November 2021 as Head of Projects Department.
