An Ivorian businessman, he is a graduate of Hautes Etudes Commerciales from the Académie Internationale d’Enseignement Secondaire et Supérieur de Bordeaux in France; the Manhattan Institute of Management;
the International Management Institute of Japan; and the Institut Supérieur de Gestion (ISG) of Paris.
He joined the Atlantic Group in 2007 as Chairman and CEO of Atlantic Financial Group Central and East Africa and is now in charge of the development of the Group’s Banking & Insurance division.
Léon Konan KOFFI is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of AFG Holding.
Holder of a diploma in agronomy from ENSA and a diploma in management from IAE Paris, he held, for more than a decade, high positions in the Ivorian administration and received several distinctions within the government, from 1979 until the end of the 1980s.
Reputed as one of the great leaders and pioneers who built the recent agricultural policy of Côte d’Ivoire, the Ivorian businessman, Mr. KONE DOSSONGUI subsequently founded Atlantic Group, a diversified conglomerate covering financial services (banking, insurance) and industrial activities in West Africa, Central Africa and the Indian Ocean.
With a diverse background in management that spans mathematics, finance, information technology, and management sciences, Mr. WILSON has extensive experience in the banking, insurance, industry, and agribusiness sectors.
He has held several leadership positions at the Société de Gestion et d’Intermédiation (Bénin), MOOV Togo, Banque Atlantique Togo, and the Arab and International Investment Bank (BAII) in Paris, France. He is currently responsible for the development of the Industries and Services division of the Group.
Financial expert and graduate of ESCA (École Supérieure de Commerce d’Abidjan), Mr. ABISSA has extensive experience in finance, particularly in financial engineering, modeling, structuring, and restructuring businesses in the banking, insurance, industry, and agribusiness sectors.
After holding senior positions at the West African International Bank (BIAO, now NSIA Bank), he joined Atlantic Group in 2015 as Deputy General Director of AFG. In 2022, he became the General Director of Atlantic Group SA, the parent company of the Group, responsible for overseeing the activities of its subsidiaries (banking, insurance, and industry). Mr. ABISSA is also a CFA Charterholder.
Mechanical engineer graduated from ENTPE in Lyon and holder of an MBA from New York University, Mr. MIVEDOR is a proven leader with extensive international experience in private sector investment, local currency fundraising, financial product engineering, energy project financing, risk management strategy, and project management support across various fields.
As the General Director of Togo Invest Corporation SA, he has also held senior positions at the African Development Bank (AfDB), BRVM UMOA, Lehman Brothers, and other prestigious institutions.
A graduate of the Institut d’études politiques de Paris and the Centre d’études supérieures de Banque, he joined the Société Générale Group in 1973.
He became General Manager of Société Générale des Banques in Côte d’Ivoire in 1988 and, 10 years later, took over the management of international retail banking.
He then developed Société Générale’s international network while strengthening the Group’s historical positions, particularly in Africa. In 2012, Mr. Mattei became advisor to the Chairman and CEO of the Société Générale Group.
He has also held senior positions within AFD, Mauritius Commercial Bank, ORAGROUP, KEYS, etc.
Agronomist engineer graduated from ENSA in Abidjan and the universities of California and Washington, he is an expert in socio-economic and sustainable development, focusing on poverty reduction, agriculture, agro-industry, food security, and agricultural financing.
With extensive experience in government agencies, international organizations, and non-profits, he has held senior positions at the World Bank, BNDA, DCGTx, and other prestigious organizations.
Graduated from the Paris Institute of Political Studies and Harvard Business School, he is the Chief Executive Officer of Enko Capital West Africa and a co-founder and partner of Enko Capital Management LLP.
He has extensive experience in the financial sector, particularly in asset management, financial services, fundraising, mergers, and acquisitions.
Mr. YEO, an engineer by training (École Centrale de Marseille and Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble), began his career at Énergie Electrique de Côte d’Ivoire (EECI) before joining the Société Générale Group. In Côte d’Ivoire, he held positions as IT Director, Financial and IT Director, and then Deputy General Director of SGCI.
He was later appointed General Director of the subsidiaries in Burkina Faso and Ghana.
In 2018, Société Générale promoted him to Regional Director for Central and Eastern Africa, a position he left in June 2021 to join the AFG Group.
A statistician-economist and financial engineer, Mr. KONE has built a strong professional background primarily in North America (Canada) and Africa. Before joining AFG Holding, he held several strategic positions at the Caisse de Dépôts et de Placement du Québec, one of the largest pension funds in North America. Within the Ecobank Group, he led the investment teams of the asset management branch and managed commercial activities in the Treasury Department, as well as the development and distribution of market products in the UEMOA region and Cape Verde.
Karim holds an Executive MBA from HEC Paris, a Master’s in Financial Engineering from Laval University (Canada), and a degree in State Engineering as a Statistician-Economist from INSEA in Rabat. He also has CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and FRM (Financial Risk Manager) certifications, along with several executive certifications in strategy, asset management, leadership, and management, obtained from institutions such as HEC Paris and Wharton Business School.
A qualified chartered accountant, BOUBA has significant experience in banking regulatory bodies within the CEMAC region.
He served as an Inspector at COBAC in 2007, then became the Financial Director of BDEAC in 2016. In 2018, he took on the role of Deputy Director of Accounting at BEAC, where he contributed to the transition to IFRS standards for the institution before joining AFG in September 2021.
Banking subsidiary Administrator and General Director, Mr. Ganga has strong expertise in leadership, project coordination, and organization, as well as in defining and implementing development and transformation strategies in banking, particularly within the BNP PARIBAS group.
An economist by training (DESS from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne), he joined the AFG group in April 2021 to facilitate the transition of former BNP subsidiaries.
Mrs. YATASSAYE has held various positions across different sectors, including agro-industry, media, and banking, before joining AFGbank CI in March 2024 as the Director of Marketing and Communication.
With a strong background in marketing and institutional and brand communication, she will significantly contribute to the implementation of key projects, including the development of the AFG bank and insurance brand, rebranding efforts, and the management of our Wenovate strategy, which will set us apart in various markets.
Her expertise in project management and her knowledge of several African markets will be valuable assets in addressing upcoming challenges, particularly in driving change within our subsidiaries.
Holding a DESS in Finance & Management Control from the National University of Benin and a diploma from the ITB (Institut Technique de Banque) in France, Mr. ALLAGBÉ Djidjoho Pierre has a rich professional background.
Previously, he served as Deputy Director of Risks and Director of Studies at BOA Bénin, as well as Director of Risks at ECOBANK Bénin. He joined AFG Holding in June 2021 and currently holds the position of Director of Risks and Permanent Control for the Group.
